Get ready for an evening of mayhem, mishaps, and nonstop laughter! The Claire is thrilled to announce auditions for The Play That Goes Wrong, a fast-paced farce packed with physical comedy, technical disasters, and characters who refuse to let a show collapse—no matter how badly it goes.
Audition Details
Date: February 2-3, possible callbacks on February 4th
Time: Auditions will begin promptly at 6:30 pm
Who Can Audition
Auditions are open to performers 18 years and older.
All experience levels are welcome—especially those with strong comedic timing, comfort with physical comedy, or an interest in ensemble-driven work.
Audition Preparation
Please prepare a memorized monologue up to one minute in length.
Comedic monologues are encouraged, but not required.
Be prepared to participate in light movement or reading from the script if requested.
About the Show
The Play That Goes Wrong is a hilarious play-within-a-play following a well-meaning but disastrously unlucky theater troupe whose opening night spirals into chaos. Expect falling scenery, missed cues, and actors bravely soldiering on through catastrophe.
