Lights, camera, action…Volunteers!
Usher
You are the first person that greets our patrons as you show them to their seats and you assist at the concession table. We have four ushers for each show who report to a House Manager.
Light Technician
You are responsible for collaborating with the show director and creating the different lighting effects for the performance. This involves setting up and running the light board in addition to changing lights and gel filters.
Box Office
Help our box office ladies before each show assisting patrons with picking up their will call tickets at the door and communicate with the house manager prior to show time. To help contact:
House Manager
The House Manager supervises the ushers and answers patrons questions. Your duties will include setting up and stocking concessions, training on credit card devices, holding onto the money bag, and checking on restroom needs. You are also in connection with the Stage Manager to open and close the theatre doors for the beginning and ending of a performance.
Stage Manager
This person is responsible for ensuring a smooth performance of the show working closely with the director, actors, crew and light technicians.
Sound Technician
You will work closely with the director managing canned or live music and sound effects on our mixing board.
Construction/Painting
Each show has a unique set that needs to be created requiring that you have good communication with directors and set designers. If you have basic carpentry or painting skills we’d love to have you!
Costume Designer
This person is responsible for working closely with the director choosing all clothing, accessories, and shoes for all cast members in a show. You may need to alter clothing or make new clothing if needed for cast members.
Photographer
Each show requires publicity photos and program head shots. Publicity photos are submitted to local newspapers and magazines.
